The author of this book obviously has zero experience in providing professional development courses or teaching. The book is disjointed. The entire goal of the PMI is for them to teach a process. The process not conceptual ideas should be the main idea connecting theme
Although it is a Comprehensive review of the PMBOK Guide materials, it is presented in more of a textbook format than the Guide, and therefore very useful in helping to organize studying In preparation for taking the PMP exam; highly recommend!
I like this series
Loved this book. Solid foundation and lots of questions. 1500 questions = PMP
Overall, I like how the book is put together, however this 6th edition is not ready for primetime. I'm only on page 57 (There are almost 500 pages to the book) and I'm finding several errors as to how this book does not correlate to the PMBOK 6th edition. For example, it still refers to the "Time" knowledge area instead of "Schedule" which means that the mnemonic doesn't apply and still points to some figures that doesn't correlate to the new book. I'm still going to use it (the book is quite expensive!), but I'm going to question everything until the end...
