I give this book three stars for the typos and misspellings and four stars for how the books grabs your attention. And since the author is family and I learned more about our family, I give it five stars.But in all seriousness, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was captivating and had me hooked. I laughed, shook my head and had my jaw drop several times. I also learned several things about "street life." Reading Harlem Herion(e), made me realize that during the (80s/90s), I experienced and remember those decades completely and differently than Ms Tee. But then again, I am a Queens girl.All in all I enjoyed this book. Not condoning or glorifying the street life but am appreciative and in awe of the fact that someone has written a kind of tell all book about their life. Bravo Ms Tee, bravo.

Infominds on Youtube brought me here lol and now I really can’t wait for her episode to drop!! With so many unbelievable storylines in street fiction it was good to read something real. I loved the fact that she included pictures too! And OMG I felt her pain when Maine died. The way she set it up I knew it was going to happen but I still wanted him and Lil Sis to work it out! Ms. Tee, if you’re reading this, write Lou’s story next since yall are still close 🙏🏾. Aaannnndddd I neeeeeeddd to know who you married, sis LOL

Interesting urban drama from Point of View perspective. Being in the thick of drug trafficking and violence is usually not a glamourous spectacle mostly told by those who give us happy endings. This one speaks of pain and the dear loss of friends and lovers that the author will hold in her heart forever. Even though, she places those feelings in ours. I have read street novels such as Dopefiend, Iceberg Slim, and this tale of street drama is that family as well. Great read, as if she were talking to you face to face.

Ms.Tee is an under rated writer I hope she continues to tell these stories through her eyes I enjoyed this book and have been telling my friends to order as well can’t wait to hear more from her

This is a true story written in a way to speak to a demographic and to capture their interest because of it's importance. That is the reason behind the slang and few typos. It's RAW. Authentic. Ms. Tee thoroughly and vividly paints the picture of the drug trade in New York from the 80s going through the 90s. From the beginning of the book to the end you get an understanding of why people are drawn into or lured by the glitz & glamour of drug dealing, why women are attracted to pushers and all of these things even though there is a high chance of death or prison. This is a EXCELLENT read
